I build Yoridea, a platform that helps scientists and innovators see their projects through to completion. It guides them step by step from idea to implementation, helps them push through blockers, and connects them — at the right moment — with experts, partners and investors.

I come from Bydgoszcz, Poland. I work at the intersection of science, public institutions, and business; I also write books and speak in public.

What I work on

Projects

Four initiatives I lead or help build.

Founder & CEO

Yoridea

A B2B platform connecting innovators, technology transfer offices, business partners and investors. I have been developing it for about six years (formerly named BINOS) — it also serves as the technology backbone of the Accessibility Accelerator, handling submissions and tracking projects.

Organiser & coordinator

Accessibility Accelerator “Od nas dla nas” (“By us, for us”)

A research-and-implementation programme created by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. Most solutions for this group are designed without their input — designers guess at needs instead of knowing them from lived experience. The Accelerator reverses that: instead of designing “for” them, it gives people with disabilities the tools, infrastructure and funding to design for themselves, from idea to implementation.

Author & coordinator

Emotional Education Programme

We teach children to read and count, but rarely teach them what to do with their own anger, fear or shame — and those emotions don’t disappear, they come back later as conflict, burnout and relationship trouble. The programme brings social-emotional learning (SEL) into Bydgoszcz primary schools, based on Daniel Siegel’s approach and Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication — concrete tools for naming and regulating emotions, not another lecture. Already running in more than 30 primary schools in Bydgoszcz, in cooperation with the city.

Researcher

Science

As a molecular biologist, I work at the intersection of basic science and precision medicine. My work spans a wide range of topics: from the mechanisms of aging biology and embryogenesis to advanced rare-disease genetics and innovative targeted therapies. Rather than limiting myself to one specialization, I combine diverse fields — from multi-omic analysis to regenerative medicine and computational chemistry. I focus on deeply understanding complex cellular processes, to build the foundations for modern therapeutic strategies on that basis.

Supervisory board

Since 2024 I have served on the supervisory board of Sagaja S.A.

Flagship project

Yoridea

A platform that helps scientific projects reach implementation.

I once spent eight months working on a grant application. It cost over a hundred thousand złoty and yielded no results.

Not because the idea was bad. No one told me what stage I was really at, who to look for, or when.

Problem

This is how good scientific projects die

A scientist is good at science, and suddenly has to also be a lawyer, a manager and a salesperson. The investor or company that could help has no way to check whether the project is mature, so all that’s left is the pitch — and a pitch always sounds good.

Solution

Yoridea tries to fix that

Guides step by step

From the first idea to implementation. Together with the innovator, it builds a work plan.

Asks questions

When the project gets stuck, the system keeps asking questions until they find a way through.

Finds resources

When equipment, a lab or an expert is needed, the platform helps find them.

Shows the real state of the work

The investor sees not a nice slide, but a readiness score that grows with evidence.

Documents priority

Every step leaves a dated digital trace, so intellectual priority is documented.

Ambition

A destination for the entire world of science

Yoridea’s ambition is to become a place where everyone benefits.

01

Scientists

From pupils and students to professors and university rectors.

02

Professionals

Salespeople, distributors, accountants, lawyers, freelancers — simply, specialists.

03

Investors

Large investment houses as well as private individuals interested in supporting science.

04

Everyone else

Everyone connected to the world of science in one way or another.

For about six years

Yoridea is the future of science — which means it’s the future of all of us.

I’ve been working on this project for about six years (formerly named BINOS). I view it through the lens of someone who has walked this path himself: from research project to company, from idea to lab work, from no results to promising ones, from a determined creator to a creator disillusioned with “the system”.

It was a major piece of experience for me: from a research project, through building a team and a company, to seeking funding for its development.

Rare diseases

This research project focuses on the molecular basis of an ultra-rare encephalopathy, DEE66, caused by a mutation in the PACS2 gene. The aim is to identify systemic genetic and epigenetic modifiers that drive the condition’s extremely variable clinical course. Using a rigorous comparative model of patients and their healthy siblings, large-scale multi-omic data (WGS, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, DNA methylation) are integrated through advanced machine-learning algorithms (MOFA+). Identifying objective prognostic biomarkers on this basis lays the groundwork for precision medicine and modern drug-repositioning strategies.

About

From biology to systems

“The world of science has tomorrow’s technologies but tries to deploy them with yesterday’s methods.”

Beginnings

I became interested in medicine in childhood, spent largely in hospitals, and started university as a teenager at Collegium Medicum. I completed a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at Clarkson University in New York a year early, on a full scholarship and with seven letters of commendation from the Dean.

Science

My first work focused on the biology of ageing and telomerase. In 2020, in response to the pandemic, I started a project for an inhalable antiviral platform, which grew into the company BAT-19 and a research team of more than a dozen people.

Today

I’m building Yoridea and running programmes together with public institutions: the Accessibility Accelerator and the Emotional Education Programme.

Outside science

Outside the world of science and technology, I find balance in classical philosophy and learning languages. I unwind to heavy rock music, and the daily rush of thoughts and ideas I sort through best on long walks.
